Alcohol (Organic Sugar Cane Ethanol)

A solvent for the extracts of other ingredients. Source – Organic Sugar Cane Ethanol.

 

Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice (Aloe Vera)
A natural humectant with moisturising and anti-inflammatory agents. Contains unique nutrients with healing and stimulating properties; a most effective fighter against skin dehydrating pollutants, a cause of skin ageing. Also known as an effective burn and wound healer. Source – Gel from fresh Aloe Vera leaves.

 

Althaea Officinalis (Marshmallow) Root Extract
Helps to soften and soothe skin. Source – Dried root of the Althaea Officinalis plant.

 

Anthemis Nobilis (Chamomile) Extract
Contains anti-inflammatory properties. Soothes and conditions skin. Source – Flower of the Anthemis Nobilis plant.

 

Arctium Lappa (Burdock) Root Extract
Helps remedy skin problems such as acne, eczema and psoriasis. Also known for its ability to relieve bruises and inflammation. Source – Root of the Burdock plant.

 

Beeswax (Cera Flava)
Soothes and protects the skin from dryness. Also serves as an emulsifier. Source – The wax secreted by the honey bee – Apis Mellifera.

 

Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea Butter)

A vegetable oil rich in Vitamin E and Carotene. Its main skin care function is to soothe, moisturise and act as an emollient. Source – Natural fat extracted from fruit of the Shea tree.

 

Cananga Odorata Flower Oil (Ylang Ylang)
For skin balancing, relaxing and toning. Infused with a sweet, floral scent to calm the senses. Source – Oil extracted from the flower of the Cananga Odorata tree.

 

Carthamus Tinctorius (Safflower) Oil

Aids in nourishing and protecting. Helps to lock in moisture, keeping skin hydrated and promoting a younger looking skin. Source – Vegetable oil extracted from the seed of the Carthamus Tinctorius plant.

Cetearyl Alcohol

A naturally derived emollient and emulsifier. Provides creaminess to products. Source - Coconut Oil.

 

Cetearyl Glucoside

A naturally derived emulsifier giving creams and lotions a non-greasy feel. Source – Based on alkyl polysaccharides derived from Coconut Oil and Glucose.

 

Chamomilla Recutita (Matricaria) Flower Extract (German)

Possesses gentle, anti-inflammatory properties, helping to reduce puffiness and cleanse pores of impurities. Source – Oil distilled from the dried flower heads of Matricaria Recutita.

 

Citrus Aurantium Dulcis (Orange) Oil
Helps to detoxify skin as well as soothe and refresh. Source – Extracted from the peel of the fruit from the Citrus Aurantium Dulcis (Orange) tree.

 

Citrus Nobilis (Mandarin Orange) Peel Oil

Various benefits including purifying, rebalancing and refining the texture of the skin. Source - Extracted from peel of the Citrus Nobilis.

 

Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil
Supports the natural chemical balance of the skin, as well as softening, hydrating and protecting. Source – Harvested from the Coconut tree.

 

Hamamelis Virginiana (Witch Hazel) Extract
A strong astringent and anti-oxidant which can have anti-inflammatory effects for mild skin irritations such as insect bites and burns. Source – Extracted from leaves and bark of the North American Witch Hazel shrub.

 

Humulus Lupulus (Hops) Extract

Commonly used for its soothing, toning and relaxation properties. Source – Extracted from the Humulus Lupulus plant.

 

Jojoba Oil

Has a natural moisturising effect on the skin. Source – Seed oil from the Simmondsia Chinensis shrub.

 

Hydrogenated Lecithin

A naturally derived humectant with excellent skin conditioning, moisturising, and antioxidant properties. Source – Modified extract from the Soybean.

 

Lavandula Angustifolia (Lavender) Flower Water
A beautiful natural fragrance with calming effects, aiding in relaxation. It can relieve minor skin irritations and reduce inflammation by soothing and balancing. Source – Distilled with the flower of Lavender.

 

Lonicera Caprifolium (Honeysuckle) Flower Extract
Reduces redness and minor irritations caused by dry skin. Also smoothes and softens. Source –Extracted from the flower of the Honeysuckle plant.

 

Lonicera Japonica (Honeysuckle) Flower Extract

Reduces redness and minor irritations caused by dry skin. Also smoothes and softens. Source –Extracted from the flower of the Honeysuckle plant.

 

Manuka Honey

Has been used as a healing agent since ancient times. With antibacterial components not found in any other honey, its antibacterial properties aid in soothing and protecting the skin. Containing high levels of enzymes, vitamins, mineral and antioxidants, Manuka Honey assists in maintaining healthy looking skin. Melissa Officinalis (Lemon Balm) Extract
Contains antiseptic properties which also clarify, refresh, calm, detoxify and soothe. Source – Derived from the herb of the Melissa Officinalis plant.

 

Olea Europaea (Olive) Leaf Extract
Used to stimulate the components of connective tissue in the skin, while moisturising and softening with enriching Vitamin E. Source - Derived from the leaves of the Olive tree.

 

Passiflora Incarnata (Passion Flower)
Renowned for its calming and sedative properties on the skin. Source – Derived from the aerial parts of the Passiflora Incarnata plant.

 

Passiflora Edulis (Maracuja) Fruit Oil
Has calming, soothing and analgesic properties in its natural state. Source - Derived from Brazilian Maracuja fruit.

 

Persea Gratissima (Avocado) Oil

Enriched with Vitamins A and E to soften and nourish the skin. With wonderful emolient properties, this ingredient rejuvenates and moisturises. Source – Derived from the flesh of the Avocado pear.

 

Pogostemon Cablin (Patchouli) Oil

Works as an active cell rejuvenator, promoting fast healing and masking of scars. It moisturises and protects skin as well as acting as an anti-inflammatory.  Source – Extracted by steam distillation of the leaves of the Patchouli plant.

 

Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis (Sweet Almond) Oil
Protects and nourishes the skin while promoting a clear, young looking complexion. Acting as an excellent emollient, it soothes and softens the skin with its high content of essential fatty acids. Source – Obtained from the ripe seed of the Almond tree.

 

 

Prunus Armeniaca (Apricot) Kernel Oil
Nourishes dehydrated skin and helps to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Rich in Vitamin A, this ingredient increases elasticity in the skin and helps to soothe inflammation. Source – Oil is pressed from the kernels of the Apricot fruit.

 

Rosa Canina Fruit Oil (Rose Hip)

Rose Hip Oil is rich in moisturising and soothing properties, smoothing the skin as it is absorbed. It is an intensive skin rehydrator, nourishing and protecting the skin from sun damage. Containing Vitamin F, this ingredient is rich in essential fatty acids. Source - The ripe fruits (rose hips) are used.

 

Saponaria Officinalis (Soapwort) Extract

A cleansing ingredient with anti-inflammatory saponins. Source – Extracted from the leaves of the Saponaria Officinalis plant.

 

Sclerotium Gum

A thickening agent for skin care. Source – Derived from fermented sugar.

 

Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil
Easily absorbed into the skin and is beneficial in treating inflammed and irritated skin conditions. Possesses a natural moisturising effect, hydrating dry skin. Source – Seed oil from the Simmondsia Chinensis plant.

 

Theobroma Cacao (Cocoa) Seed Butter
An excellent emollient for dry and dehydrated skin. This vegetable oil nourishes and protects while deeply moisturising. Source – Derived from the seeds of the Cacao tree.

 

Tocopherol
Vitamin E – softens, soothes and protects skin. Source - Derived from wheat germ or vegetable oils.

 

Xanthan Gum
Used as a product thickening agent with skin conditioning properties. Source - Derived from natural carbohydrates.
