How is OPTIW8 program different to other programs?

Different diets advocate, no fat, lots of fat, no carbs, high protein, low GI, eating one type of vegetable for days, only eating soups, calorie counting - the list goes on. This is not necessarily the way to better health. We recommend fresh food including fresh fruit and vegetables, lean meats, fats obtained from fish, nuts and seeds, and healthy grains. We also recommend avoiding pre-packaged food, and food that is high in starch, like too much white rice and pasta, too many
potatoes, and white breads whilst opting for healthier alternatives.

Each person’s metabolism is different, so it will vary between individuals. We recommend that 1kg loss per week is an achievable goal. We do not advocate rapid weight loss like many other programs, as this in often unachievable and unattainable.

Can I undertake the program if I am a diabetic or have high blood pressure?

It is important to speak to your health care practitioner before undertaking any diet or exercise program. They will be able to carefully assess if this program is right for you.

Can I put the whole family on this program?

The suggested recipes are suitable for the whole family. The supplements are only suitable for adults (not children), unless under direct advice from a health care practitioner. Eating fresh food is important for the whole family.

How long can I stay on the OPTIW8 program?

Healthy eating is a lifestyle choice, and should be maintained for optimum health. We suggest one week for each kilo you would like to shed, with regular breaks from the program. Once you have reached your goal, incorporate healthy, fresh food into your normal diet to replace any fatty, sugary meals you may have had in the past. Seek the advice of a qualified nutritionist to ensure you have incorporated all of the food groups into your healthy eating plan

If I am pregnant can I take the OPTIW8program?

We would not recommend that pregnant women go on the OPTIW8 program, as this is not suitable for a developing baby.

Do I have to exercise to lose weight on OPTIW8?

The answer to this question is yes! Take a look at the 8 easy exercises to get you started, and as you begin to move more, you will naturally feel better, invigorated, and ready for anything.

 Can I have my coffee?

Coffee is a diuretic, which means the body loses hydration when you drink too much coffee. We would suggest healthy herbal teas, such as Cleanse & Revive Herbal Tea, and of course, plenty of water. Other herbal teas such as chamomile, green tea and lemon/ginger are also suitable.

 How much alcohol can I drink?

Adopting a healthy lifestyle is a choice. We would not recommend drinking alcohol during a change in diet and lifestyle to maintain a healthy weight. Once the supplement part of the program is completed, a glass or two of wine per week may be acceptable, but remember, all things in moderation.

 How many cups of the tea can I drink per day?

This tea is a delicious caffeine alternative that assists healthy digestion, so one, two or three cups per day is fine.


 Should I measure myself, or weigh myself?

We would recommend that you take your measurements with a tape measure prior to commencing the OptiW8 program, and record them in the table provided once per week. You can also weight yourself if you like.

if I am on the OPTIW8 program?

Quantum Fx keeps your immune system in tip-top shape, and Daily Essentials assist with providing daily vitamins and minerals.

 Can I maintain the program once my weight goal has been achieved?

Yes. You can adopt the healthy eating plan, and use OptiW8 Meal Replacement as your mid-afternoon protein snack. The Cleanse & Revive Tea is also a great caffeine alternative. It is not necessary to stay on the Appetite Regulator. This can be kept for the next time you would like to visit the program.

 Will I put weight on when I come off the OPTIW8 program?

As mentioned before, healthy weight management is a lifestyle choice. Once you have opted for the introduction of healthy, fresh fruits and vegetables, lean meats and healthy fats, it’s all about moderation. It’s important not to return to the habits of old.
